Each of our children has a beautiful heart, a good mind, talent, and huge potential. Hasn't God been good to us? Just look at those smiles.

 

Zachary Fischer   Here is Zach in 2006, with his girlfriend Julia, 2005, and performing with his band in NYC, 2004. On February 2, 2007, Zach had his first television appearance as a foundation executive on Law and Order. He was sensational, and we're believing this is just the beginning for him. Beautiful Ariana Milton


Since the wedding, Ariana and Zach, who both live in NYC, have thoroughly enjoyed having a sibling nearby. Ariana works in the fashion industry and wishes she could entice her mother into other than boat clothes. Isn't her smile infectious? The dark-haired gal whose smile matches Ariana's is her friend Cori, who also works in NYC. You know the thing we like best about each of our children? They're just as beautiful on the inside: kind, thoughtful, and loving.

                                                                

       

Joshua Milton

Josh graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in May 2006 and planned to sail across the Pacific with us on Sea Venture before plunging into whatever the future has for him. Then, along came El Nino (and a few other issues), putting off our departure date. Needing to get on with his lifle, Josh is now back in NC, persuing a graduate degree in military history at ECU.  Here he is on a visit to DC summer 2006 and just off their field as a  high school stud. I'm sure if he reads this he'll tell me to edit that one right out. If so, he (and Zach) can just send me some others to put here.


                         



    


 

Jason Fischer

Jason graduated from Rio Vista, CA, high school in June of 2005. He attended Sierra College and is now at the California Maritime Academy. Look at him half-way up the mast, installing the new sail track for us. You can see more pictures of his recent exploits in the bosun's chair on the More Boatwork page.

Brittany Lynne Fischer (1971-1982)

We have one other child, the daughter of Michael's heart, his first born, who died of a rare disease that kept her body from metabolizing vitamin A. No one suspected she was ill during her first years. By the time she was three, the deterioration had already begun. To honor Brittany and to affirm that we will see her again, here are two photos of this bright, intelligent little girl whose spirit is alive and well.
