The heading photo shows the Sea of Cortez after a stormy night when we lay hove-to, waiting for daylight before entering La Paz. Elsewhere on this site, you'll see photos of the dolphins that cavorted around the boat. I'd heard them just before dawn, blowing and leaping. 

In the next photo, Sea Venture sits at anchor in Stillwater Cove, just below Pebble Beach Golf Club on her way to her temporary home in California. Michael shot this through our huge binoculars with his small digital camera because we didn't have a telephoto lens with us. Not bad, is it?
